Great work for the US here. Rin Keys in 7th (which I believe is the best US finish ever) and Megan Chu in 12th.
2 gymnasts from the US in the top 12 is unusual.

There is a big drop off after the top 4, who were the same gymnasts that were top 4 at euros just in a different order. Below them, everyone is working at around the same level so it depends on who hits on the day.

Typically you’d also expect 4 gymnasts from Russia and Belarus amongst the top finishers. Plus Spain and Azerbaijan seem to be going through a weaker patch.
