Wheels came off the bus for Denver on vault. Only a 48.9 and now .250 behind UCLA for the second spot.

I was all for a denver upset but not if your vault looks like that.

I cannot make sense of these scores though, it's just all over the place.

These Utah vault scores are insane. Half of them are impossible.

So damn happy for MSU! Being from MI myself, I know the coaches and many of the gymnasts, and it's amazing to see them doing so well. Klages should have been fired many years before she was. Go Green!

If Utah and UCLA perform like they did tonight, MSU definitely can make the final four. If everyone's at their best it's going to be a bloodbath, we could end up with 2 198 teams not advancing.

I agree. Which is why MSU’s mid season plateau was so perplexing. They’ve been clearly stronger than Missouri lately even though they had to finish regular season ranked one spot behind.

The sweet thing from the Liv and Corey podcast is just how much the other Big10 programs admire Michigan State and all their gymnasts.

The scoring may have been completly fake but I do think Utah and UCLA are the right two teams to advance.

They at least set up a very exciting semi-final.

I am so so happy for them! One of my best friends is assistant coach and I could not be more thrilled for her and the whole team!

If Denver had a capable vault rotation, it might have been more of discussion of scoring, but they took themselves out of it. Could not duplicate their Thursday performance.

UCLA looked off tonight, they are lucky to make it to finals, they will have to step up if they want to make the final 4… They looked lackluster, no team energy

UCLA looked nervous to me. This season was so focused on responding to what happened last year - the inconsistency, the internal issues, and getting knocked out in round 2 of regionals. I hope they can now relax a bit and just go for it at nationals.

I was annoyed with the way ESPN displayed the team scores. I don't mind seeing the difference between each team, but I don't want to have to do mental math to figure out what the actual scores are.
