Watching Barbosu's expressive floor and warm interactions with other gymnasts, and remembering how Romanian TV used to call her out for looking stony faced as a younger teen.

They really tried to push her down, and here she is.

Barbosu seemed to be a friendly face on the black cubes of doom. Love the way she comforted those whose routines didn't go so well - was it a deliberate move that they all turned to sit in the opposite direction on the cubes to get the cameras out of Williams' face?

Oh and to Catalina (I've drunk the Voinea Kool-Aid) Ponor - who got herself kicked out of PT at worlds a few years ago for criticising Ana (not good enough for the team apparently) Barbosu - I can only say
