The intros with music are just a fun thing for kids to do at this one goofball meet. No one is doing any intros at the World Cup, they're all just walking out and waving. It's not like it's a gymnastics requirement lol, it's just a Jesolo thing.

I'm sure that the Dutch team have been choreographing intros for almost a decade -still remember the Beauxbaton/Harry Potter one from years ago

I think the scoring site has the tie breaks wrong, this happens on FX as well with Petisco and Barbosu.

During the medal ceremony, D'Amato receives the bronze medal on BB. Petisco gets gold on FX.

Alba Petisco had some interesting tumbling passes. At least, I didn't fall asleep during it. I also liked Coutinho's energy. Good potential there.

I would love for Lavi to find a different coach who can bring out her best, but I can't think of who that would be.

I guess I don't see what GAGE has thus far failed to bring out from her in terms of her best. She's doing great. We all have our feelings about certain coaches but what are the specific complaints about how she is being developed as an elite? I just rewatched her Winter Cup routines to make sure I'm not missing something, but I'm fairly certain she is exactly where she needs to be.

I actually agreed with the scoring on this exercise. This routine has the potential to score 9.0+ if she can fix the tilt in her split positions — and I feel like she TOTALLY can. That would be amazing to see.

• All three split positions: tilted forward 3 x .1 each
• Opening series — 0 off
• switch half: I took another 0.1 for precision in the twist. maybe heavy-handed
• front aerial: .1 bent leg
• wolf spin: she rises a little in the last spin, which is a precision thing I think. She definitely lost balance a little there, too. .1 + .1
• double pike: unpointed feet, landed with chest at horizontal, small step: .1, .1, .1
• I feel like her choreo is nice and fluid, but it could have a little more "variation in tempo". You could also argue that she doesn't finish some of the choreo moves — full extension . So maybe .1 or .2 for artistry. There's not a deduction for lack of creativity throughout the exercise, and it there were 0.1, 0.2, and 0.3 options, I would take 0.1, but there's nothing.

So I'm at 8.8 or 8.9, too.
