Same! I hope she sneakily shits on the COP, although I wonder if we'd even be able to tell from an English translation. That might require an actual gymnerd to be the one translating it.Would love to read a translation

Absolutely, love reading those as well. Gymnaverse Masters and PhD badges perhaps?Hmmm... I feel like some of us write stuff like that here in this forum all the time. Maybe we should all be getting Masters' degrees for this?
Not necessarily. Any critiques of the COP would be apparent in the non-gymnastics terminology.Same! I hope she sneakily shits on the COP, although I wonder if we'd even be able to tell from an English translation. That might require an actual gymnerd to be the one translating it.
she's also the parkour world champion from 2024This week Shang Chunsong won gold in freestyle at the 2025 Chinese Parkour National Championships. I believe this is her third title in a row, she won in 2023 and 2024 as well.

She successfully competed a double double off the bar. She tried doing it at the Amsterdam World Cup a few weeks ago but she missed it or didn't do it and I think it cost her making the podium in the final (she had qualified in 1st place and then in the final her score was practically halved, IDK what happened.)
I don't follow Parkour so I don't really know what you have to do to have the skill count vs not count. I only watch it when she's there. She also says it's the first time a woman has competed it, we'll just have to take her word on that.
Now she's preparing for the World Games in August, which she qualified for back in November when she won the FIG Parkour World Championships. The World Games are basically the Olympics for sports that aren't in the Olympics, and will be held in Chengdu, China this year. I think this is why she's trying to up her difficulty even though she already had more than everyone else in most competitions last year. It would be huge for her to win gold at the World Games in front of the home crowd.
Tumbling, Synchro Trampoline, Double Mini-Tramp, Aerobic, and Acro will also be part of the World Games.
