Here are some thoughts after watching a few videos on Cow's YouTube channel:

• Jiang Zhuoxi is still very, very good.
• Qin Xinyi is gorgeous on beam and floor.
• I'm not Code-savvy enough to know if Zhou Yaqin's beam really deserved a 15.0, but she's so nice to watch. She's so smooth and calm that I'd recommend her routine to my students as an antidote to finals-induced stress.

Great to see Olympic team member Du Siyu again performing at the top of the field on vault and bars.

Zhou Yaqin still doing her lovely beam work is heartwarming. The composition of that bars routine needs to be fixed (a planned empty swing after the shaposh??), even if she isn't a real AA threat.

Zhang Qingying won the AA, followed by Qin Xinyi and Zhang Yihan (who successfully performed a DTT vault and a Silivas on FX). Huang Zhiyi, Zhang Kexin, and Zhou Yaqin (14.966 on beam) rounded out the top six. Ou Yushan finished in ninth place.

I'm actually very pleased with this podium. I've warmed to Zhang Qingying over the last few days, and I already liked Qin and ZYH.

Liu Jinru (age 24, 25 later this year) won V ahead of Deng Yalan (26!) and Yu Linmin (23). Zhang Yihan was fourth, but she would have placed third if not for a .3 penalty on her DTT.

Yang Fanyuwei won UB (15.0!) ahead of Xie Guying and Zhong Qi.
