After following gymnastics for several years, I watched almost nothing from 2020 (such as it was) until the 2024 Olympics: no 2020 Olympics, no World, Euros, or other major events, just a few random videos over those years that would show up in a feed at one time or another. Watching Paris was a lot of "never heard of her" with a fair dose of "she's still around?!" (Barbosa!).
My question then, as I'm gradually paying closer attention again: what are your must see routines from the 2024 quad, women or men? I'm not looking to fill in the full history of the quad, just curious about some of the routines or gymnasts that stood out at the time or maybe helped define the quad for you.
By the way, if you ever find yourself bored or disenchanted with the sport, take a break from it. My time away wasn't intentional, it just happened, and I didn't really miss it. But, I thoroughly enjoyed watching the Olympics last year, more than I recall doing so in the few years leading up to the break.
