Cal picked up a whole bunch of signings that either previous committed elsewhere or hadn't committed. No surprising, given how many 2026 recruits bailed after the Howells left. Most notable are Canadian Madison Hajjar (who will join in January), and Adilenne Holt, who originally committed to Penn.
Dulcy's been committed to Florida since last year, so this isn't surprising. I'll be more interested to see if she defers and stays at WCC through 2028, or goes to Florida for a year and then returns to WCC to train for LA without the distraction of NCAA.
It's official signing day (whatever that means these days). College Gym News has a tracker.

I'm not sure that not having a gymnastics connection is a bad thing. Someone who can look at things with fresh eyes, without the baggage of the past? Assuming he's able to juggle all the competing priorities that will be whispering in his ear.
I hope his experience leading MLS youth...
US T&T also got a version of the purple leo Dulcy wore for AA and Skye wore for UB finals, sans the high neck. T&T definitely got superior leotards, imo. Sometimes, simpler is better.
Ming GVE made the rounds this last week!
Notable Visits:
Florida: Ming Gherardi van Eijken
Georgia: Ming Gherardi van Eijken
UCLA: Ming Gherardi van Eijken, Zoe Tsaprailis,
UNC: Payton Chandler
Notable Commits:
Arkansas: Karelyn Vega
Michigan: Lucy Stephenson
Stanford: Harlow Buddendeck
I don't know if they're budget some much as, at least in my experience, T&T is way less interested in ALL THE BLING. They seem to prefer their leos to be simpler, same with their hair.
Thanks so much for these recaps. Sounds like this season is easier than previous ones? I feel like by episode 6 we're usually down to just 3 or 4 participants.
I don't know what the current schedule is. From the 1990s through the mid-2010s, it was typically a shorter morning session (2 hours), followed by a 4-5 hour afternoon session. Usually there would be one morning off, and generally no Friday afternoon practice. Then a longer Saturday practice...
Big scores for Ashlee Sullivan today. 13.65 (VT), 14.05 (UB), and 13.7 (FX). She cruised to victory.
ETA: man, beam ate everyone alive today. Only Alba Petisco (12.9) managed a score above 12. Everyone else was in the 10s or 11s.
