I’ve tried replying to this thread a few times and couldn’t figure out what I wanted to say. Thank you tsarinajen and Passion for putting it into words.
I enjoyed the book a lot. Some new stories, some we’ve heard before, plenty of reflection and more detail than many gymnastics books (course I’d always hoover up more detail). I found Aimee’s pre-Simone life particularly interesting as that was all brand new to me.
Some interesting points about the medal rounds:
Gymnasts scores will not be released after they perform their exercise, they will be held until the end of the Round and then announced.
