Every event happened to USAG are relevant and considered. Tokyo Olympics was another evidence for USAG not having only 2AAers. Junior worlds is the most recent evidence not to put only 2AAers in QF.

Highly doubt it. What happened at junior worlds is a strong reason for USAG to have 3 AAers in QF. They should prepare for any unexpected circumstances, including injury or slipping of vault.

Very unlikely for both not doing AA in QF. The USAG knows the importance of having 3 AAers in QF. This year, the USA team had Rivera and Hang as top two junior AAers domestically. Only Hang competed in AA because Rivera scored a zero on vault and Stassi who qualified in AA 1st group got injured...

Blakely has a higher potential AA score, but Wong has consistency. From the result of the team selection, the USAG prefers consistency. So for me, Wong has an edge over Blakely. But there is a possibility that Blakely downgrades the double double to full in, and regains her floor consistency.

Oh then a full in would be the best replacement. I don’t want her to risk an injury for trying to do Chuso in such a short timeframe.

I certainly put Blakely in all around if she does a good full in. She has trouble controlling her landing on double double. I wish she does a Chuso, but time is running out. A good full in at least helps her get a consistent 13-13.5 on floor.

Wong and Blakely are really close in the all around! I also have Wong over Blakely for all around as of now. But if Blakely has a good podium training (especially on floor), I will switch between them.

She received the scores from multiple Category 2 competitions. The Category 2 judges are more indicative on the execution of the code than online armchair judges.

Wong may do beam in TF if one of Biles / Blakely / Jones falls in qualification. Otherwise, Wong is there mainly for back up. Miller can hit a mid to high 14 bars. It all depends on their performance today and what the selection committee prioritizes.

I believe the argument of Roberson being on the Worlds team has been settled if there is no injury. Today it is more about choosing another team member to complement her weakness. Miller and Wong are top candidates.
