All the partnerships and citizenship has been shuffled. The gold medalists from 2022, Papadakis and Cizeron parted on bad terms.

Front runners Madison Chock and Evan Bates, together for 15 years, have the seasoning and practically know each others moves without looking. Their free dance is Marador vs bull, flamenco style. Canadian skaters Piper Gilles and Paul Poirier have a reputation for doing things in an unexpected way. The rhythm dance requires 90’s style and music so they are doing RuPaul’s Supermodel.
Cizeron has a different partner and when filming started she didn’t have French citizenship yet. They were also plagued by having picked Depeche mode for the rhythm dance and had to switch since it came out in 1989. Skating to it would mean major deductions.
