Men Brandon Wynn makes comeback to earn spot to Tokyo as a rings specialist

I didn’t realize he was making a comeback!
His goal is to make it to Tokyo as a Rings specialist.

I am not sure that this is going to happen for him due to the fact that US MAG, at best, could be awarded one additional spot if USAG gets one through the Continental meet, which might not happen.

I think that it’s pretty awesome that Wynn and Chellsie Memmel, both born in 1988, are on the come-back train. It’s more common to see gymnasts in their 30s on the men’s side, but both Wynn and Memmel have a decade on many of their potential teammates.
