World Challenge Cup Series

The main World Cup Series is just a bit more.

Tashkent is a pain to get to from outside of the former USSR. Currently the only Western European destination is Frankfurt and I doubt it’s a daily flight. Going via Moscow used to be the easiest and cheapest way to go, but most European countries no longer have flights to Moscow.

Diyas Toishybek looked big mad during the medal ceremony for HB. He ran off as soon as the anthem finished. He knows he's supposed to go to the top podium for a picture because he just did it yesterday in the PH ceremony, so that was on purpose. He was very happy after his routine, I guess he thought he had won. Boysarov's D and E are oddly missing from Elevien's results page, so his are copied from the stream:

This is absolutely rubbish. Diyas was sloppy on the Kolman and the dismount, too. His Taks were both way over handstand. (They both were over on the half-Taks). He also bends his arms a lot. Alisher was cleaner on most skills. And the difficulty was only 0.5 off. If anything, the scores should have been a little further apart. 8.00 is high for that Diyas routine.

Diyas wasn't far from handstand on the tak half. Alisher is bending very sideways on two of the pirouettes and he uses the cheaty hop full technique where there's barely any turn in the air. I want that skill to get downgraded if it's not performed with the kind of release that used to be standard.
