This is very cool. Jakarta hosted the 2018 Asian Games, so they already have the infrastructure for a major international competition.

I hope this means that Rifda Irfanaluthfi will stick around for a couple more years.

I'm pleasantly surprised with this news. Indonesia seems like an interesting place to hold a world championships.

Ooooh, that's different. Asia doesn't host Worlds often; when they do, it's either China or Japan. I hope we'll see smaller nations host Worlds in the future.

We should see some smaller countries hosting more Worlds now, specifically the individual one, which is part of the reason that FIG shrunk down the number of athletes from a country that can attend. To make it smaller and appeal to smaller countries.
