I knew Georgia would improve quite a bit with their new coaches, but I thought it would be more gradual than it was. I figured they would go up a couple of places in the rankings each season and break back into the top 10 after a few years. Major kudos to the coaches and the athletes for all of their hard work and dedication. I'm extremely proud of them.

As a Georgia fan I so appreciate your comment. There were some that were cautioning me for being too optimistic about the Landi/Roberts co-head coaching "experiment". While I know that coaching college gymnastics is obviously different than club in many ways, there are also so many things that carry over-- like simply coaching the athletes. Landi had already proven herself to be great at that on the club level especially with college age and even older gymnasts. When she started at UGA I could not see her being unable to fulfill that part of her role with anything less than excellence. Since Roberts also had successful NCAA experience (at BAMA as well as UGA) it seemed like a logical as well as easy prediction to make that they would get these results. With virtually all of their talent returning next year I predict an even higher ranking than 10th at the end of the regular season. I'll shoot for somewhere around 5th - 7th.
