The ceremony to recognize the World Champions of 2025 was held at the National Training Center in Beijing today. Hong Yanming and Zhang Qingying were added to the Wall of Champions. Zou Jingyuan was also honored for winning PB again.

Zhang Qingying said that two years ago she was sitting at this ceremony making a wish that she could be up on the wall someday. Now that dream has come true and she thanks her coaches, especially Xu Jinglei. Hong Yanming talked about training hard and improving on his weaknesses; he thanked everyone too.

There were also speeches to mark the official start of Winter Training.

Here's Zou Jingyuan back in 2017, when he was first added to the Wall of Champions along with Xiao Ruoteng.

For 2026, the men's program plans to send their A team to both Asian Games and World Championships. Their goal is to win TF and AA at the Asian Games on Japanese soil. They want to use these two competitions back to back to sharpen the resilience of their main team.

Winter Training is focused on upgrading difficulty and perfecting execution. They see not-stuck dismount landings, FX, and HB as weaknesses. The men's program also plans to add 2-3 more junior training groups to start preparing for the Brisbane Olympics. So an expanded National team.

Asian Games are Sep 19-Oct 4 in Nagoya, Japan. World Championships are October 17-25 in Rotterdam, Netherlands.

That is a wild schedule. There's not going to be a lot left in the tank by Worlds. I guess we just did the same thing this year with Worlds --> National Games but at least Worlds didn't have a TF. Let's keep testing the limits of Zhang Boheng's back and sanity I guess.

For 2026, the women's program will be focusing on preparing for the LA Olympics. They want to win gold in LA. Winter Training priorities are upgrading difficulty and artistry. They plan on attending 6 World Cups next year. They will also send a team to the American Cup to get some experience with the new Mixed Team format/procedures and to work on developing strategies for it.

They're launching a digital training research center with Tianjin University of Sport to study vault technique and improve training on the event.
