Your favourite piece of gymnastics, EVER

Which part? The split full to land in split? That’s always been what I think of when I think of her on floor.

That should legit be called the Produnova. It’s a separate skill.

I think this is morphing into your favourite fx.

I know this wasn’t a legit competition, but this is just too wild and beautiful (0:13)

Looks like there’s judges and real apparatus to me, I don’t need FIG’s dirty fingerprints on it to be “legit”. But yeah that’s one of the prettiest tumbling lines on beam ever, thanks for the reminder.

For me, it’s the vaults that stick with me the most. Shannon Miller’s FTY in 1992, Maroney’s Amanar in 2012, Produnova’s vault you just posted, Simone’s YDP, even Strugg’s vault stuck with me for a very long time… and especially this beauty. I think Yang Yun’s first vault is my favorite piece of gymnastics of all time, I’ve watched it countless times.

You’ve offended the queen and her girlies

Rich, I think I’m with you on that one.

To be fair, this wasn’t a switch leap lol

Ha clap BACK

I stand corrected!

I must have been thinking of Ilienko’s massive split leap and attributing it to her.

I always enjoyed mo huilan’s type writer routine

An understandable mistake–Ilienko’s leaps don’t pay rent, they have condos in my head.

I also love this one. One of my 3 fav vaults. The others being Prod and Moroney.
