If she is in WOGA of all places, this seems like a serious comeback.
If she can get into elite shape she would have a realistic chance at Worlds next year and maybe Paris. Her bars alone would make her an immediate contender. Her DTY would be more than adequate.

If Simone is interested in coming back as a specialist for VT and FX, Gabby could be a nice fill for UB and BB. With 5 person teams back, it takes some pressure off needing to be fully AA ready.

No - the piked Tkatchev first entered the COP following 1999 Worlds, but as an unnamed element and in the same box / element # as the straddled Tkatchev.

I live a few minutes from WOGA in Frisco. I think Valeri runs this one and Yevgeny runs the Dallas one maybe? I’m about to roll up and see if I can get a tour for my niece (gotta be inconspicuous lol). I just don’t believe this is really happening!

We can’t forget that had Gabby not been 2 per’d in Rio she would have easily medaled in the AA with 4 hit sets. Her TQ total would have beaten Mustafina and Raisman.

She was also 3-perd from the beam final and 4-perd from the floor final!
If she had been from ANY country other than USA, she would have been in AA, UB, BB and FX finals.
