2021 worlds coverage

Let’s post information and links about coverage in this thread.

BBC have confirmed they’ll show both AA finals on red button.

BBC Sport - Gymnastics: World Championships - Next on

Doesn’t mention EFs but I’d assume those will be on too. Can’t remember the last time they showed AA but no EFs and also the better GB medal chances will be in the apparatus finals. They’re evidently not doing prelims, no surprises there.

I couldn’t find anything about Eurosport showing it. My TV guide only works up til Friday 22nd but there was no mention of either AA being on. Which is a shame as I’d have loved to get discovery type coverage of worlds too.

Olympic Channel is also showing qualifications and all finals.

When does team USA leave? Tomorrow?

I think the left already. I believe Konnor was tweeting from the airport.

Why is worlds always in the middle of my fucking most stressful rehearsals? I will at least wear a handkerchief on my head to honour Rebeca :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

Rant over. Please proceed with actual informations people are interested in.

There is apparently a stream for Quals here: https://abema.tv/channels/sekai-taiso/slots/DdN9M7y2P6FV3V?autoplay=false?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_content=video_card&utm_campaign=official_tw_sekaitaisou_ap_free_slot_DdN9M7y2P6FV3V

I assume you need a decent VPN. I couldn’t get it to work with the built in browser one.

Is there any way to follow these worlds?
I hope someone has some more information, the FIG does not respond to mails or anything. very dissapointing. Is there even an event site with broadcast information?

All I could find was this chart which says which network is streaming per country:
http://www.fig-docs.com/Media/2021ARTRGKitakyushu/Broacast%20Partners%202021AG%20Kitakyushu.pdf

Googling the broadcaster + the event might bring up some more information.

BBS full coverage of Worlds.

Breakdown of each subdivision including team rosters and also various times around the World that align with Kitakyushu time.

In the United States, Olympic Channel will be streaming the all-around and event finals live, with delayed coverage on NBCSN and some sort of wrap-up full event package on NBC on the 24th. In the UK, it will be BBC online doing the live streaming of finals, with delayed BBC2 TV broadcasts on Thursday, Friday, and Sunday.

Qualification is a gaping void of hopelessness.

Live blogging:

In Canada CBC will be showing the MAG and WAG AA finals. That’s it, it seems.

Frankly that’s more than I expected! I wonder if it will be the same Australian commentators they used during the Olympics.

That would be great, I enjoyed their take on it.

Has anyone come across a full replay of the AA final?

Also did FIG not stream it like they said they would?

FIG streamed it, but if a broadcaster in a given country had brought rights (like NBC in the USA), then you couldn’t access it without a VPN.

Did Spain not broadcast this year? Someone usually puts up coverage right away.

See if you can access the Spain broadcast here: https://www.rtve.es/play/videos/gimnasia/campeonato-del-mundo-final-femenina-desde-kitakyushu/6147548/. I don’t see it on Youtube but the RTVE website directly works for me.

Women’s AA Finals are on NBCSN right now.
