Welp, hopefully I’ll do better for worlds.

She has probably been training the YDP more seriously in the last few days since she knew she wasn’t competing it until after prelims.

I agree. I thought right away that training three different vaults led to air confusion. Think back to all the great one vaulters who said they couldn’t figure out a second. I remember Wieber said they tried but her body/mind wouldn’t cooperate.

I’m gutted for her. She didn’t come all this way to stop here, so you know it’s extreme. I feel like we are in an alternate universe. Never could have predicted this.

Truly wish Simone was feeling her best and ROC had hit beam. Would have been a battle. I hate all these what ifs and asterisks and should have would haves.

Oh I agree, that’s why I didn’t necessarily think it was injury related.
