I think she had like 8 routines. I’m guessing the choreographers couldn’t figure out a way to make Gutsu into a dancer. She was definitely a trickster, but the artistry was lacking.

I agree. Gutsu’s vault was nothing special. I think a 9.95 was an over score. The solid double layout was also gross. Bogi and Yang Bo had the same tumbling but Bo scored much lower. Vibes.

I think cheating does matter. Nastia could have another gold medal. If YYL was underage, then her AA and UB medals belong to others.

Brandy Johnson. A shame she didn’t compete in 1991. She could have medaled on vault. Kristal Uzelac.

Ahhh. My Masters in Reading was a joke that neglected all research and science.

Gutsu’s landing was much worse. She lunged so far that both feet moved up. Chest down. It was bad. If Gutsu was competing for another team, that landing would have been a much bigger deduction.

I could totally get on board with this. I liked Milo enough for bronze. Bogi just didn’t have the difficulty. Lysenko would have been a wonderful medalist.

This forever. The landing during the AA was truly horrific. Huge lunge forward. It stands out to me as just too big of a mistake for AA gold.
