Obviously documentaries like The Climb will portray things in a positive light, but after watching it last year, I definitely had a more positive impression of their team dynamic. Of all the schools who have done similar, LSU's was definitely the best. I don't think there's ever been any rumours...
Lily Smith apparently warmed up a Yfull but didn't compete. They might've slotted her in if needed. Naya Howard, Heather Parker, and Haley De Jong all are injured with 10.0s. Kelsey Lee is also injured with a Yfull. Holly Snyder has a small injury and should be back really soon, but has a Yfull...
I mean Katelyn exhibitioned another which kind of counts as competing it? I also really think Paige's Y1.5 will show up soon, though I guess we'll see. Vault was their second-highest event score today though I think, so less worried about that right now.
We're at six right now by the looks of it. I'd say 15 would be fine, absolute minimum 10, max 20. If we stay at six though, that could work for a SEC only league maybe? We'd need interest in that though
Shoot didn't notice that. I have a different version I'm using that has all of them, not sure what happened there. Would need at least 15 here that are interested to snake draft I think
I'm pretty sure last year Gymlytics automatically had the first week as a practice week so I think it would be the same this year. They also do public leagues for if we don't have enough people on here who want to do our own.
Idk if snake draft is a commonly used term because I only started doing fantasy last year but it means that you go from 1-20 and then 20-1 and each person has something like 14 hours to choose their next gymnast.
I'm in the gymnastics Discord where they have loads of different leagues going. The default there seems to be to use www.gymlytics.io which I used last year and was great. General leagues are mostly 20 people, 20 gymnasts per team, 10 up per event, 5 count. They're doing a lot of slow snake...
I know WCC has a ton of elites, but I’m surprised that wouldn’t be her choice if she’s staying in the US. She’s connected to them through Jordan & Janelle, and she’s also fluent in French I’m pretty sure which of course isn’t necessary but still.
Ana trained in Arizona over Thanksgiving break which is where her boyfriend is from and he’s a student at UCLA so can’t think why he’d be in Utah. If she’s going to Utah I think it would just be to train with Chris Waller. I know she’s familiar with him but has he ever coached elite?
She’ll be coming for that continental AA spot which luckily also hopefully solves the “someone from New Zealand qualifying with a 46” issue that came up as soon as Australia qualified a team
