I can’t say I disagree with the singular point that USAG does not have high enough standards anymore for its athletes. They’ve shown that through domestic judging and team selection.

I’m somewhat sympathetic to the US not attending as many overseas meets as other delegations, as it is a major training interruption in a way it isn’t for European athletes.
However, I think it would be wise for USAG to lobby to host an international FIG meet and give the option for US athletes...
The thing about Martha though was that she threw away several titles due to mismanagement, overtraining, and being a general asshat.
That’s a much more addressable issue than the lack of talent and development.
For all the faults of Texas Nightmares, Ragan was legit, and Morgan Hurd won the AA that year, and proved it was no fluke in 2018.
