Ugh just a very unsatisfying result. I wish Melnikova would have hit. She looks great and I would have been able to cheer for her winning if so, I think she is the best AA athlete at this competition. Just not win with a fall better…
So Wong would likely win just putting one of her vaults to her feet….usually that would mean just going with the double. But after qualifying?! What do you think she’ll do?!

Just watched Voinea and Yap’s routines. That there is only 0.167 separating their E scores is insane. I think if you told me the decimal point was misplaced and there was actually 1.67 separating them…Voinea a 7.1 and Yap an 8.7…I would have been less shocked.
I believe some of what everyone is talking about is happening under Okino at the Elite Developmental camps. Many younger coaches and athletes that are hopes or aren’t even hopes athletes yet attending.
