I knew a “US” Olympics would be expensive, but over $1,000 for each session of quals?!!! Good grief. I’ll just try for Team Finals at the very least. Beijing at $8500 for all women’s events was great deal! Yes, I understand that was years ago.

I’ll start off with I’m so old 🤣 … We are going to trials, which over the last 3 Olympics has been the one event that I drop a lot of money on. I think the hotel is around $300 a night. We are hoping to try the Native restaurant as well. I miss the IG Tours that were reasonable priced...

Worlds is always cheaper unless it is held in the US. I pay a boatload for good Trials tickets unless I actually get to attend the Olympics that year - so far only Beijing. But I’m already saving for Los Angeles.

It’s been like that for Trials since 2004 … well, for Women’s (I can never sell my men’s tix).

It was tempting until I realized for a little bit more, I would go to Worlds.

Especially after the All Around disaster.
